An Interview with Fernie

Greetings, friend. You’ve found your way to the Sunday Rap here at BKKNites. My name’s Seven, guest writer and aging whoremonger-at-large.

Fernie—the Thai adult video sensation—rose to fame in 2020 when she made the move into porn as a way to put food on the table for her family. Since then, she’s been an x-rated juggernaut, turning out content with a seemingly tireless enthusiasm, painting the internet with her personal brush, garnering fans the world over with her audacious, devil-may-care attitude and sexual magnetism.

In the wake of her success, there’s been a groundswell of imitators, cohorts, and acolytes, forming a cartel of sorts—a flirtatious family producing fantasy fodder for lurid lookie-loos.

What’s somewhat surprising about her meteoric rise is the fact that she’s done it all mostly on her own. Her insistence on being an independent creator has proven to be a wise and lucrative decision. Additionally, either by luck or kismet, she’s found a handful of indie photographers to work with as well. One of them is our own Jack Nites.

So while we continue to wait for our government overlords to deign to return our blessed bars and gogos to us, here’s another spicy photo spread (courtesy of Jack and Fernie) to tide you over, along with a short Q and A from yours truly. It’s not an interview, per se, because BKKNites has already been there done that (you can read it here: https://studio23bangkok.com/fernie-interview-with-an-internet-sensation/

Just for shits and giggles, though, I picked her brain a little bit. Here’s how that went:

BKK7: What do you like best about modeling?

Fernie: ‘Modeling work makes me feel more confident. Before I started this, I always thought I wasn’t beautiful.’

BKK7: You’ve really taken charge of your career. How do you keep your energy up?

Fernie: ‘I recharge my energy every day by talking with my lovely daughter. When I feel down, or stressed, or alone, all I need is to see her smile or hear her laugh and my day becomes wonderful. I work hard, yes. But it’s not for myself. It’s for my family. I don’t want anything for myself. Also, I work with good people. When you have good people to work with and family to support you, it makes everything in life good.

BKK7: Is there anything you miss about your pre-fame life?

Fernie: ‘I’m the same now as I was before. The same as my life pre-fame. I like to say “FEEL THE FERN” because nothing will change me.’

BKK7: What’s your sense of the current attitude in Thailand about adult content? Are Thais becoming more accepting?

Fernie: ‘I think it’s hard for Thais to accept because of our religion. Some people don’t want to acknowledge that this lifestyle exists, but it does. It doesn’t make sense, and I hope that in the future, the people of our country will be more open to adult movie actresses. Because we work hard.’

BKK7: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Fernie: ‘I hope I’m retired by then, lol. I just want a normal life. I hope to own a home, maybe run a café…or maybe a “sexy girl” café, lol.’

BKK7: There are a lot of Fernie imitators now. How do you feel about those competitors?

Fernie: ‘I knew this would happen. Like me, they just want to survive in this difficult time. Maybe if I’m not new and exciting anymore, what these girls do might seem new.

I’ve met girls who say, “Woo! I’m the top!” But to that I say, “Okay…so?” Lol, do you know how many friendships are broken by this life? For example, some girls want to make content but the first thing they check is the percentage they get. I just tell them, “You can’t work alone in this world. You can only be successful if you learn to help each other.’

BKK7: Is there anything you’ve got coming out in the near future that you want readers to know about?

‘My plan is to make a “Girls Trip”. Maybe you’ve already seen my posts about it. I want to make new quality content. Before, I would rent a luxury house, which I paid for myself, and invite a photographer. But with this project, more girls can join. We can travel, do different activities, do photoshoots and create new content. And if it’s successful, the girls will all be safe and happy. And I won’t ask anything from them. I’m just happy to help and give advice.’

I don’t know about you, but I’d love to somehow get invited along on that trip! But viewing the content they create would be an OK consolation prize.

That about wraps it up for us this week. Tune in next Sunday for more red-light-related fare, and between now and then keep your balls warm, your beer chilled, and here’s hoping for a gogo reopening sooner rather than later. Cheers.
