The Dollhouse

The Dollhouse, one of Bangkok’s iconic go-go bars, has recently undergone some changes, with Dennis, the long-standing manager, moving to Lollipop at Nana Plaza. This transition has brought about a significant increase in drink prices, making Dollhouse one of the more expensive bars in the city. While the happy hour until 9:30 PM still offers a decent deal, the all-night happy hour on Sundays and Mondays is now a thing of the past.

On this particular night, the bar featured a solid lineup of entertainers, but it was evident that there were far fewer girls than in previous visits, with only about 12 girls present, including 5 who were particularly attractive. This reduction in the number of performers was noticeable and contributed to a less vibrant atmosphere compared to past experiences. The staff remains friendly and attentive, ensuring guests are well taken care of and readily explaining the drink specials.

Dollhouse

The main floor is dimly lit, with accent and stage lighting that sets the mood perfectly. The seating feels new and comfortable, arranged to provide almost every guest with a good view of the stage. The large stage can easily accommodate 12 to 15 dancers, with padded stools available for those who want to be close to the action. Although the second floor was empty during our visit, it often features table and pole combinations, providing an intimate dancer viewing experience when it’s busy.

Overall, while The Dollhouse continues to provide a quality experience, the reduced number of girls and recent price increases may give some patrons pause. It remains a staple in Bangkok’s nightlife for now, known for its solid entertainment and inviting atmosphere, but it might not be as enticing as it once was.
