Whether you’re looking for a spot to enjoy one or two drinks or a place to party the night away, Big B’s has something to offer.
As a “beer bar” or lady bar, Big B’s provides plenty of opportunities for most men to find a flirty companion to spend the night with. The bar is open-air like others in the complex, but the numerous fans do a great job of keeping things cool. The atmosphere is a lively mix of a lady bar and pool bar, with the pool table seeing lots of action from guests and staff alike. Big B’s also often features big games on its monitors and is happy to accommodate requests to change the channel.
Drink prices are not the cheapest for this type of venue, with beers at 120 THB, mixed drinks at 200 THB, soda and water at 80 THB, and lady drinks at 230 THB. While the bar doesn’t serve food, they provide menus for Moonshine’s, a nearby restaurant in the complex offering Western, Mexican, and Thai dishes.
The music can sometimes be too loud, and on two occasions, we’ve left before receiving our orders because of the volume. However, on this visit, the music level was just right. Guests can pick songs from a tablet, adding a personal touch to the vibe, while the virtual DJ usually plays a solid mix of new hits and classics.
All in all, Big B’s is a fun place to check out while exploring Bangkok’s entertainment areas. For some, it’s the kind of spot where they’ll party the entire night. However, like most bars of this type, the cost of lady drinks can add up quickly, and your final bill might be higher than expected.
